The City of Music of Geneva is located at the limit between the urban residential and university district, and the Garden of Nations large international institutions park. This new program is an opportunity to open the Garden of Nations to the city through a new public park, the “Vallon des Feuillantines”.
The park creates new transversal connections from the adjacent district and creates new transversal connections. Avenue de la Paix is redesigned as a generous parkway distributing the different areas of the Garden of Nations with new dedicated cycle and pedestrian paths.
The park is dedicated to the visitors and students of The City of Music and includes an amphitheater embedded in the existing topography of the site. It is also a new park for the surrounding community with undulating and accessible pathways catering to all ages. The garden of the restaurant benefits from the western exposure and develops a generous terrace opening on the park.
