Cloche d’Or is a new residential district within the Ban de Gasperich Masterplan in Luxembourg City.
It is located along the Drosbech river and the new city park of Gasperich. It includes a new square, an “urban balcony” along the park, four planted courtyards and some pedestrian streets.
The square is a mostly mineral open space planted with character trees amongst which some car places are integrated.
The courtyards are residential gardens mainly accessible to the inhabitants of the associated buildings. Being built on the top of a carpark, mounds have been designed to allow for fruit trees planting. The gardens also include a collection of roses providing an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere.
Along the park edge, the urban balcony connects the development to the park and provides a promenade along the river. It features tree species typically found in the region’s alluvial forests.
Along the adjacent boulevards of the development, two temporary tree nurseries are planted to feed the future surrounding developments.
