This project is part of the wider ZAC Ecocité project, which sets an overall vision for the identity and ecological transformation of the Canal de l'Ourcq. In line with the objectives of the ZAC, the landscape proposal supports the development of a mixed-use, green urban district with a vibrant neighbourhood atmosphere along the canal. It introduces a series of landscaped spaces—mostly on open ground—integrated into the planted promenade.
Overall, the landscape approach contributes to urban cooling, improves air quality, biodiversity, rainwater management, soil permeability and offers well-being spaces for the users of this new district.
